set up automation to lock rows, but how do I test them?
I set up an automation to lock rows when the status is done:
I can see that the automation is running. Row should be locked. But I can modify them?
I need the rows to be locked, so no further edits can be done.
Use case: user promotes Jira ticket to "Done" in a smartsheet that is linked to Jira. I now need the row to be non-editable. Once done, no other edits.
I've sharing this to my gmail email account and logging in using a user that has editor, can share, but I can still modify the rows using this account.
what am I doing wrong??

When you lock a row, only owners and admins of the sheet can make edits. Did you create another account then share yourself to the sheet with editor, can share permissions- then you can still edit? Make sure you are logged out of Smartsheet everywhere if you are testing it with a dummy account. If someone with editor permissions can edit a locked row, that shouldn't be happening. https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/522077-locking-unlocking-columns-and-rows

Thank you. I had to log out everywhere. :)
