Alternate uses for Control Center

We created an elaborate internal audit system (audit questions, responses, risk assessment, corrective action, etc. in one sheet template) consisting of several automations, metrics sheets, reports, dashboards, etc. and would like to move everything into Control Center. Has anyone used CC for anything other than Project Management?

    Hi @Tammie Ziemke

    I hope you're well and safe!

    Nice! Yes, I've used it in client solutions for many different processes, so as long as the structure makes sense, it should work ok, and the Portfolio WorkApps feature would make it work and look really nice.

    I hope that helps!

    Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

  • Andree, thanks for responding. I'm definitely not very well educated on control center, so please bear with me. Right now, though, I'm curious about how to organize the current template components in preparation for the transition. For example, do we create separate sheet templates for each sub-process within the audit process template, i.e., a questions sheet, a risk assessment sheet, a corrective action sheet (all of which will be tied to a specific audit)? Do the workflows live within those sheets or somewhere else? Also, should we create a metadata sheet? If so, what should be captured there?

    @Tammie Ziemke

    Happy to help!

    Not knowing your process more specifically, I would arrange it with an Intake Sheet where you register the primary information about each audit (could be used with a form), and then you could have it triggered to create all the assets needed for the audit.

    Then, you can have data automatically collected back to the Intake sheet, metric sheet updated portfolio overviews, and similar.

    Make sense?
