Data going to last row, is it due to colour coding?

Hi all,

In one of my projects, I have color coded all the rows (until 50), and locked the first row with some information. Whenever the form is submitted within that sheet, the data is supposed to it should go to second row and then following basis. However, now when I submit the form it going to 51st row and the row is automatically colour coded as the previous one. My question is why it is going to 51st row, but not in the second row? Can someone please help me find answer for this?

Try deleting the rows in the middle. If information is being populated at the bottom of the sheet by a form, it will go to the first unused row. There could be empty rows in between that have been used but had the data deleted. Since these rows were used, the form will not populate them.

Try applying the color formattings at the column level and then just formatting the top row.

I did apply the color formatting's at the column level and submitted a form, where again it went to 57th row. Can you please help me understand why this is happening?

Did you delete the blank rows using the row menu?
