Good day!
We hope we can make the comment section on the approval form mandatory. This would help in managing approval and getting feedbacks from the top management.

I would like to see an option "when someone selects reject or decline, require a reason or comment".
From what I can tell, there is no option for this.
Hi, I hope you're well and safe! Here's a possible workaround or workarounds - Add a comment before Approve/Decline to indicate the reason.
Would that work/help? I hope that helps! Be safe, and have a fantastic day! I have that option on there, problem is there is no way to make it "required" if the employee hits decline.
Ok.
You can add another workflow that checks if it's empty and send an update request to have them add a reason. ✅ Remember! Did my comment(s) help/answer your question or solve your problem? That is what I was finding as the option. I was hoping it was a "you cannot vote until you fill in this field".
Yes, that would be perfect!
I put in a recommendation ticket to an idea or upgrade.
Currently, there is no requirement to complete the 'A Comment" field on an approval request. If a request is denied, we are looking for a response as to WHY for the requester.
without the requirement I was going to build a workaround to build an automation if the a comment column was left blank and the status was declined a follow up request would go out for the declined reasoning. Unfortunately plans were spoiled when i realized the a comment response is being loaded into the conversations not a new column on the sheet that can run automations.
Request to either require the response when loaded or move the comment responses into a column in the sheet.
Allow a setting to make the comment section in the Approval Form mandatory?
Could you elaborate more? Are you talking about a custom form or the automation "Request an approval"?
Summary of Issue All team members work a standard 7.5‑hour day, but only a portion of that day is allocated for project work (e.g., 25%, 50%, etc.). In Resource Management, however, the system currently interprets allocations as a percentage of the full 7.5 hours, instead of the project‑eligible portion of a person’s day.…
Dashboard widgets are currently mostly static. I can display counts and charts, but I cannot click into a specific part of a widget to drill into the underlying records. It would be a big usability improvement if widgets supported interactive drill-down. For example: Click a bar segment (or stacked segment) to open the…
IDEA: for Workflow automations, add a detailed "modification history" Currently, the Workflow Automation only lists the Created By, Created Date, Last Modified By, Last Modified Date, and Last Ran on. This is missing critical information. It doesn't show any changes to: Automation name Trigger conditions Actions Recipients…
