SS Form Submission Error - though form is filled-in correctly

"There was an error submitting the form. Please try again, if the problem continues, contact the form owner"

Our SS forms have been working consistently all year. From last week, intermittent users reported the above error saying they were unable to submit the form , even though all the fields were correct. Other users don't have a problem submitting the same form.

Does anyone know what this error means to give a clue to where the error is?

    When things go awry always check Smartsheet Status Page : https://status.smartsheet.com/

    Several days last week our team was having issues all around connecting to Smartsheet (sheets, forms, dashboards, etc.).

    Troubleshooting steps

    1. Log out of Smartsheet and log back in.
    2. Access Smartsheet in a different browser.
    3. Access Smartsheet in an incognito/private window of your browser. Using an incognito/private window will eliminate issues caused by extensions, and in Google Chrome, it will also eliminate issues caused by cache and cookies. If you can access Smartsheet without issues here, it may be that browser extensions are causing the issue. Clear the cache in your browser.

    Thanks for your help, it was useful to try. Due to the random nature of the problem, it was tracked down to local IT policies that blocked the SS traffic for certain PCs (due to their age).
