Travel approval workflow

I am looking to make a workflow for travel approval .

As the request form should be accessible for all employees I would like to use a webform. Approval shall be done by the Project Manager if travel is project related or the respective Line Manager if it is for non project travel (training, conferences,...).

 

The Project Manager's and Line Managers should get a report which shows their travel approval requests only.

Can somebody provide a template for a workflow like that?

What type of things are you trying to track? There are a few templates you could check out. Search for “travel” in the template gallery. Specifically Expense Report. Its a great starting place to track travel expenses.

Security Details :

Requestor and Approver will have access to the records belonging to them.

Once Request is made then Requestor should not be able to modify data.

Once Request is approved then Requestor should not be able to modify data.

 

Any thing you would like to add regarding security ?
