Request update request for evaluation

Hi all,

To give you some background: I am organizing a coding support group for internal coding jobs in our company. I am collecting some key metrics in Smartsheet (both on project and on individual level). I have removed those columns in the attached screenshot. Now, I would like to ask the coding support requester to evaluate our group based on the performance per task. I would like to 'Coding Support requester' to fill out an update request or form for the variables 'Evaluation of coding job (1-5 scale)' and 'Please share any feedback that you have'. And I would like them to fill this out 1 week after the project is 'status=completed' on our end.

How can I best do this? Doing this via update request or via form? How can I trigger that the updated request is only sent out 1 week after status = completed?

You can set up a Request An Update Automation to run based on a date type column being 7 days in the past and have it sent to a user listed in a contact type column.

And how do I set up that the request update will only be sent out 7 days after 'Status=Completed'?

Do I need a helper column for this? If so, what is the exact formula for that?

Or can this be put in the automations itself? Not sure how to do this.

You could use a helper column for "date completed" and have an automation stamp the date when a Task is marker "comptly.

You don't need a helper column. You would set the trigger to run daily and have a condition of when the End Date is 7 days in the past.
