Report will not average negative values correctly for baseline variance.
Hello,
I have a project sheet that calculates Variance from the schedule baseline. I am trying to create a report from this sheet that shows the average Variance for each supplier (from the Assigned to column). As you can see in the image, some of the variance values are negative, and some are positive. When I try to use the summarize function and average the variance values, the answer is incorrect.
It seems to be taking the absolute values and ignoring and negatives.
I would like this average to take into account both negatives and positives. How can I do this?

Hi @Marc Piper
This looks to be specific to the Variance column generated through the Baseline function. If you haven't already, please open a ticket with our Support team so they can work with you in a private channel. They'll want to see full screen captures of the Report and the Source sheet, along with the URLs, and steps you took to get this result.
Thank you!
Genevieve
