Form - Extra Rows

We have created a form in Smartsheet and noticed that Smartsheet automatically adds blank rows between the last row containing data and the row created by the form. How do we prevent blank rows from being added?

Hi @Liz_Snavely , I have had a similar issue before, I believe this happens when users inadvertently use the rows. Despite them looking empty they do hold some data.

When I was looking at this, I established the rows had been used by adding the automated created by column which indicated that they had been used at some point. In my case the rows values were removed, but the row was left in place, when the import from the form happens, it adds the row at the bottom of all existing rows.

After removing the extra rows that were left blank, my form added the rows correctly directly under the previous entered rows.
