Upgrade Smartsheet WDC for Tableau

Tableau has updated their server and desktop and the Smartsheet WDC has been deprecated due to the Smartsheet web data connector being based on an old SDK. I rely on this data connector for many dashboards which are now very out of date and/or blank since I am no longer able to refresh them. Please update your connector so that we can connect to Tableau again!

Same issue here...what is the workaround? I didn't architect the connection, so I'm a bit worried about knocking around with it.
