Ability to update in the email alert direct

Hello,

I thought I could recall the ability when using automation alerts to send out a request/update to someone and they could update their task/dropdown directly within the email itself.

Is this an integration Im misremembering

Hello,

It's an Update Request automation. It doesn't allow them to enter the value right in the email. The email has an "Open request" button which opens a form that allows them to input the data into the requested fields without having to navigate to Smartsheet and enter the details on the grid.

The other thing you might be remembering is that if you're @mentioned in a comment you receive an email. When you reply to that email, your reply goes back to the conversation thread in the Smartsheet.
