There is an issue with Captcha where although it is turned off on the form's creation, if a user cc themselves too many times, the system automatically turns it back on. If the creator wants CAPTCHA disabled, SMARTSHEET should not override this.
Yes especially when the user who is submitting the forms is logged on to Smartsheets already.
We are experiencing the same issue. CAPTCHA is turned off at the Form level and yet it pops up after every other form entry. Pretty annoying at this point.
I opened a ticket with Smartsheet and I haven't really gotten anywhere.
Hi Rhonda H. - Did you ever get a resolution to this problem? I just found out today that one of my colleagues is experiencing this same problem, and it started around the time of your posting. At this point she is getting pretty frustrated because she uses the forms feature many times a day, and this has started to impact her production and her sanity.
She reached out to me since I set up the Smartsheet where she is experiencing the issue. In our case, CAPTCHA is also turned off at the form level but she showed me her attempt to log in and she had to clear 7 CAPTCHA images before gaining access.

Same here. Captcha gets turned back on even if owner of form turns it off. Will submit a ticket as well.
This same thing is happening to one of my employees and she uses one of our forms close to 20 times per day. It is not only requiring the CAPTCHA but it's making her do it 10-15 times every time she submits the form. This is beyond frustrating. Have you had any luck with the ticket, Rhonda H?
Also experiencing this issue. It is a hit on our productivity. It makes zero sense, for there to be a CAPTCHA for internal company forms.
@SmartSheetAdmin please advise on this issue. I have team members that are using a SmartForm 10+ times per day and being made to do the same number of CAPTCHAs each time! We're losing more than an hour of productivty from dozens of staff due to this issue.
I've opened a case that I hope will be the one that actually gets this fixed for all of us who are interested. Will continue to follow up or find a new solution.
At a minimum, please advise if you are working to fix this or are not worried about it.
We started using the Smartsheet form for some approval process, and for some unknown reason, CAPCHA is triggered to the form submitter as well as the approvers. The form has CAPCHA disabled. Please fix this as mentioned by many others, this is impacting efficiency. We implemented Smartsheet to improve our efficiency, and CAPCHA is not helping with that at all.
I am Jumping on this train as well. I am hoping that this issue is resolved in a timely manner.

@smartsheet admin - is there an update on this as we are also experiencing this issue. It used to be every now & then but now happening more often than not.
One of our departments are getting captcha pictures on update requests yet not on approval requests.

It is taking so much time to get into these sheets, with all the bla, bla, bla requested 😊
Can we be spared of the codes and checks and find a simpler way to access the information please.
