autofill linked cells

I have a Master sheet with job rows that number 1to17, next job starts on 18 and are the same rows of data. These continue as such for subsequent rows.

My other sheets link to certain rows on this Master. For example row 17 is always "Shipdate", so my "ShipDate" sheet links to row 17 on each job so I can have a calendar for just shipping data.

My inquiry is if there is a way to automate this at all? So I don't have to make new links for each new row.

On "Shipdate" sheet. Row1 = Row17 on Master, Row2 = Row34 on Master, etc etc

thanks---------Mike

  • Hi Mike,

There currently isn't a way to have cell links autofill in sheets. When you have a moment, submit a Product Enhancement Request using the form under Quick links on the right of the community site.

You might also see if third party integrations (such as Azuqua and Zapier) can automate this for you. Otherwise, if you have development resources available, you may be able to build something with our API: https://smartsheet-platform.github.io/api-docs/
