Pasting Content Out of Smartsheet Without Quotation Marks
Is there a workaround for copying out of Smartsheet that allows you to paste into another application without quotation marks around the text? (while still retaining the text formatting). Any input helps!! Thanks

Hi @monica16145
Quotes appear when you copy/paste cell information if your content is spread over multiple lines within the same cell:
Without knowing how your data is set up, you could get rid of the line breaks within your text to copy/paste it into a different application by using a formula to get rid of CHAR(10) - line breaks. Then you would copy that formula data instead. However I think it's likely easier to simply remove the quotes after pasting... depending on what it is you're looking to do.
Cheers,
Genevieve

Thanks @Genevieve P. We're typing social media copy into the cell, so we would want to keep the line breaks. The person copying the text has to delete off the quotes each time they paste the text when scheduling the post and it become a pain.. The other issue is if they forget to delete the quotes. Maybe we just need a different solution entirely :/ ...
