Is it possible to add the current date for an email alert?
I am trying to add the current date when sending out a weekly notification. As part of the customized message I would like to add the current date in the subject field/line. Is that possible?

Hi @DG at HRc
If you're using a date-based workflow, then no, there currently isn't a way to add a dynamic date into the subject line. You could potentially have a helper column that identifies the dates, and show this column as content in the alert.
I would personally add in helper text such as "Today's data" or "This Week's data - Monday to Friday" which will be static text but provide context. The email itself should have a date associated with it which should help clarify what day "today" is intended to be.
Cheers,
Genevieve

@DG at HRc As Genevieve suggested, if you have a helper, date column (like TodaysDate) you can place the column formula,
=TODAY()
, in it. Then use the placeholder, {{TodaysDate}} , in your subject line: for example, "Notification for Week of {{TodaysDate}}".
