I would love the ability to have custom organization for workspaces. I am shared to quite a few workspaces for reference, and the ever-growing, alphabetized list makes it difficult to find my own workspaces, especially when my organization has a standard prefix so the names blend together. It would be great to click and drag to rearrange them as desired. I have a few that I begin with a special character to move them up the list, but of course, I can't do that for every one.
I have seen a similar request for workspace folders, but perhaps this is easier to implement in the short term.
