Pulling Status from another Smartsheet

Hi, what is the best method to pull the status update from a different Smartsheet? Our technical team has a Smartsheet of tasks and I'd like those tasks and the status be reflected on the overall project plan. However, I only want them to be required to update one Smartsheet. Recommendations greatly appreciated!

You could connect the sheets using cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure. When you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet.
