General timeline for Gantt view

Hi Smartsheet technical team,

Very often similar projects or recurring projects follow the same time schedule where specific dates are unnecessary. It will be good if the Gantt view can show a timeline without specific dates and that will give a general overview of the timeline to all stakeholders of the project.

this would also be helpful for us. We do not set start dates on projects as our work in dependent on work outside of our scope. Being able to speak in time without regards to a calendar, as well as being able to include dates later would be very helpful
