Filter with Parent/Children rows

I am trying to set a filter (to weed out a large amount of rows); the Parent row has several "Children" (see below); however, each time I do it, it doesn't work; it will show the Parent row; however, it will not show the Children below.

The Children only have a small amount of data. I am invoicing to the "blue" total amount above.

I may be mistaken on what you are looking for. But, could you rightclick the primary column and select colapse all?

This should allow you to only see the parent rows in your filter.

This isn't what I am looking for; I need to see the parent row, as well the rows underneath; as they are part of the filter, as well.
