Conditional Formatting Grid vs. Card View
Hi - I tried to set up conditional formatting for a new sheet. I've done this with other sheets with no problem. I want to color by category (entire row). however, the colors are not showing up in Grid view, only Card view.
I have no idea why this is happening. I thought it might be in the settings but it doesn't appear I can edit setting in the sheet.
I've attached screen shots.
Thanks!

Hi
Your conditional formatting has white row backgrounds (grid view) for every condition and colored task bars (card view) that differ for each condition. To achieve what you want, instead of setting Task Bar colors, you should set Background colors. Or you could set both.
When you set up conditional formatting you have two places that you can specify a color (well 3 if you count the text color).
When you change the Task Bar color the conditional formatting row looks like this:
This color will be used in the card view.
If you set the background color, it will look like this:
This will change the background color of the rows in the grid view.
