I like songs with a lot of energy. Rage Against the Machine's Killing in the Name always gets me going, plus the live version of Kid Rock's You Never Met a **** Quite Like Me. Overall, I like old school Metal and Hair Bands. Metallica's Nothing Else Matters is my calm down song.

My #1 motivational song for both "office work" and "workout" work is Work by Apashe:
-
Good Morning by Mandisa...It is such an uplifting motivating song for any time of the day...I listen while I'm working, walking, in the car, any time I just need a boost
-
I am known to listen to everything from Spanish guitar to heavy metal when I am working, but when I just need to get out of a funk, I listen to Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder. The intro just makes me want to get up and dance and always leaves a smile on my face. My daughter can't stand it, so I get a lot of eye rolling if she's at home, but someone has to remind her that there was music before Taylor Swift.😉

U2 has always been my go to.
Narrowing down one song is practically impossible, but if I have to choose I would say... All Because Of You. From Edge's very first note, the city sounds, Larry's driving beat, Bono's amazing lyrics and the Beatlesque scream. Every time I hear the song I think back to the first time I saw the video and just crank up the volume to 11.

I currently listen to any songs from Bring me the horizon. But I guess it's very seasonal. For many years I would have replied Metallica - St. Anger and Foo Fighters - The Pretender
-
Anything from the Hamilton soundtrack but "Wait for it" is my favorite and I constantly press repeat on it.
-
I wish it was as simple as just one song. It really depends on my mood. Am I trying to manufacture energy? Am I upset? Do I just need something inspirational? I can go between country, rap or pop, to rock/alternative.
-
It's ubiquitous for a reason:
U2 - Beautiful Day https://youtu.be/co6WMzDOh1o?si=Lwy6jwbRmBhmPLSx
For something fun and quirky:
Röyksopp - Happy Up Here https://youtu.be/51Bpx63wkbA?si=BuD_9PGW6V6fz8ZE
-
"Roll with the Changes" - REO Speedwagon
Who doesn't love a good Hammond organ solo?
-
Madeon - Pop Culture
This is my "time-to-hype" jam...requires stand-up desk and a bit of floor space!
https://youtu.be/lTx3G6h2xyA?si=vj9BGBK04-LOpgu3

The song that gets me motivated is something that pumps me up so much, I have to dance and sing, even in the car. The song gets into my soul, and double that if you watch the videos... I cannot choose just one...
