Add specific text to a row, if a condition is met in another column in the same row?
Hello,
I would like to have Smart Sheet add the words "Bad Index" in the status column if index column is "647373". I can use conditional formatting to highlight the row, but when I try to use an automation trigger the whole column displays "Bad Index".
This is my workflow.
When I run the automation it marks the entire status column as "Bad Index" instead of the specific row.
I only want row 20 to show "Bad Index".

Include a condition of the column being equal to "647373". When you use the Run Now feature with automations, it will ignore triggers and only evaluate conditions. Since you have no condition listed, the Run Now feature will trigger on every row.
