Add a widget to add requests to dashboard

I need an option to add a simple widget that shows a list of active requests.

There are a few ways to do this:

Create a Report from your sheet with a filter to only show active requests, then use the Report Widget
OR - use a Report with Grouping and Summary to generate numbers, then display this in a Chart Widget or a Report Widget
Use a formula, such as COUNTIF, to generate a number in either a Sheet Summary field or another sheet, then use the Metric Widget to display that number (or Chart if you have multiple numbers)

Will this solution work for pulling requests from multiple sheets?

If you're on a Business or Enterprise plan, you can use a Row Report with multiple sheets as the source for the Report, yes! 🙂

You can also add multiple COUNTIF statements together (each looking at a different sheet) if you want a numerical summary.

Allow system owners and system admins to view all assets
