An editor is not able to tag (@) another editor shared on a proofing system, what could be the cause
An editor is unable to tag another editor that is already shared on the proofing system, this has been happening quiet a few times, this editor ends up having to type out the email address and it is sometimes incorrect then queries are left hanging or does not reach the correct contact. What could be cause and how can we go about correcting this?

The @mention functionality is specific to the underlying Smartsheet sheet. This means that if the user is not shared on the underlying sheet, this @mention will not notify them of the comment. Please feel free to add your vote to this related Product Idea: Proof notifications - Allow @mention notifications on Proofs to users not shared to sheet
Here's another post where I go into this in more detail.
Cheers,
Genevieve

Hi @Genevieve P. so thigs are not working out like that on my side, my editors are not able to use the @ function to tag someone who is already shared on the proof. Please note that the above does not answer my question. I also read your thread on this and it is still not giving me a solution as to why this is happening.
Please assist further.

Can you confirm if the user they're trying to tag is shared on the Sheet?
This is separate from being invited to review a Proof. Does that make sense?
