Multiple Contact list with Request Update
I have found that I can not include a Contact list column which is set to Allow multiple contacts in a automated request an update action. If you include the contact list column, none of the specified fields will show up and the open request web page only has the message, no submit or field list. The only work around I found is to turn off allow multiple selections in that column. Why?

I was able to fix the issue. Here is what happened. The contact list was initially a drop down list, which is a way to add mass amount of contacts. Then was changed to a contact list with multiple contacts selected. Everything worked except the automated reports. I changed it back to a drop down list and removed all contacts, then changed it back to a contact list. Now the automated reports work, but the pre-loaded contacts are gone. Would be nice if smartsheet let us use groups for adding contacts. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @GregoryAA,
That's weird.
Can you show screenshots of your sheet and the update request workflow in the automation menus that show your situation?

The Accountable Contact is a standard Contacts list. The Responsible Contact is a multi selection contact list. Automation is the Update Request with Responsible as one of the specific fields. Email looks correct, but Bad Update request has no Submit button or fields. If I use the Accountable Personnel as a specific field and remove Responsible in the update request everything works - Good Update request.

Anyone else seeing this?

I just tried at my end with an Update request included a Multi-contact selection column as you mentioned. It worked well as screenshots below.
There may be a temporary error with Smartsheet. You can create a new Update request automation workflow to double check for sure.
