More Flexible Formatting Features for Forms

Hello,

I'm curious to know if you will be incorporating new features into the form builder that will provide for additional flexibility and enhanced user accuracy and satisfaction, specifically, would you please provide an update on the following, a few of which I know have been requested by others over the years, specifically, the ability to:

1. Place items side by side (e.g., a Department name next to a Department code, or a Name next to a percentage.
2. Save a partially completed form and return to complete it.
3. Calculate other fields in the form, e.g., summing percentages in several related fields to provide a total.

I've moved your discussion from the Product Ideas topic as it contains 3 separate feedback pieces, all of which are actually already Ideas that you can vote on!

• Side-by-side fields in Forms
• Saving a "Form" for later use without submitting as of yet
• Totals and calculations in forms

Hi @TimmyT

At the top of an Idea type of post, you will see a yellow bar with a Status and a Triangle. It's this triangle that's counting the "votes", and all you need to do is click on it. 🙂

The yellow bar will update if there's a response from Product.
