Allow Grouping of Dates by Day/Week/Month/Quarter/Calendar Year/Financial Year in Reports
I'll start this suggestion by saying, yes I know we can achieve this with helper columns in sheets, but I think it would still be a game changer if we could design reports that allowed grouping/summarising of dates by Day/Week/Month/Quarter/Calendar Year/Financial Year without needing to edit all the sheets to include a helper column.
I've used helper columns myself many times to achieve this goal, but often times you don't know you need a specific helper column until you need a new cross-sheet report, and by then you've likely got too many sheets that will need to be modified.
If we could do these sorts of date logics directly in the report without needing to create helper columns in every sheet, it would be fantastic.
