Why can't I use hourly, daily or weekly on this automation?
I'm trying to make a daily notification for the automation below. But it won't allow me. Can someone provide ideas of what I'm doing wrong?

Nothing wrong from your end, it's just daily workflows run between 12:00 AM - 11:59PM with the alert going out between 12:00AM & 4:00AM, could be a huge batch and I guess if it's an alert I would want to know now.. Without knowing why When Triggered doesn’t work for you - Set up your daily this way.

Hi @Jason P -thanks for the response. I have no options to adjust the send time. I get the Workflow Timing error regardless of choosing Hourly, Daily or Weekly.

Correct, like I said it's nothing you're doing its just not an option for that trigger type. Would the work around in the link OR changing the trigger to When Triggered work for your needs?

@Jason P — The time-based trigger would work if the automation, once triggered would only send out to those rows where the assignee field was blank but is now populated. Or where the assignment field has Person A listed, but now has Person B listed.

@Marc Shecter HI Marc, I had the same problem. I dont know the reason behind it, but when I removed the placeholder -in your case {{Assigned To}} either from my subject or body of the message, I was able to save it as Daily/Hourly.
