Occasionally, when assisting a community member with a question, the discussion may become more complex than initially expected, increasing the risk of not providing a good solution or sharing Smartsheet best practice. I have personally encountered instances where I believed the answer to a query was within my expertise, only to discover that the solution was more intricate and involved.
If we had the @mention of @CommunityChampion, the initial responder would have the chance in this situation, to involve Community Champions to ensure that the question is thoroughly addressed and resolved.
This is like the ability to request an admin or moderator on other social platforms, which I believe the community forum to be a social platform as well as a help/support tool. It would be even better if we could directly contact each other like we can on other platforms, so those of us that have become connected via Engage or elsewhere can stay in touch, outside of finding each other on LinkedIn.
