I love using the Generate Formulas tool but have a suggestion. In addition to the "Apply to selected cell" option, it would be awesome to also have the ability to apply the output explanation to the column description.

Hi @mcullen
It seems you are having fun with this already.
@Genevieve P. sorry to be tagging you here but I have a question and not sure how to catch your attention.🙈🙈. My question is, can the "generate formulas" tool reference other sheets? I tried writing a couple of things I want to do in my own words but it always seems to generate the formula base on the sheet, even after I type out the sheet and column name I want to reference.
for example, "Referencing the xxx sheet and ccc column, write a formula to count [bbb] in the ccc column of xxx sheet"
Hi @Jacob A
Unfortunately, the Generate Formulas only supports referencing cell values in the current sheet. You can't reference values in other sheets.
Here's a link to a resource guide that I thought was really helpful:
If you scroll to the bottom, there isa "Know Limitations" section.
Hope this helps!
Oh seen, thanks for letting me know. I kinda figure, when I noticed that it kept generating formulas with the sheet. It was however helpful a bit though as it gave me another view of how to structure the formula.
I would read up on the resource.
Many thanks for sharing and have a restful weekend.

Thanks for stepping in, @mcullen! 🙂
In the Resource Management Plan Settings in Control Center, there is no way to link the Client and Project Code fields even though they are not Custom fields and part of the first 3 fields you enter when creating a new project. I can't select them in the Custom Resource Management Information Fields because they are not…
I’d like to see user analytics for WorkApps. I’ve checked the user report available in the Collaborator Pack, but it only shows how many times someone has clicked into the WorkApp each month. I’d like to know: Which resources (dashboards, sheets, forms, etc.) are getting the most traffic? Where are people spending their…
The 'Sheet' icon appears purple in the left navigation but blue within the sheet, creating inconsistency. Aligning icon colors across the platform would improve clarity and simplify user training. Please standardize the icon color to enhance user experience and reduce confusion during onboarding.
