Move Initiatives to "Filtered out by Connector" when they are no longer returned by JQL filter

Currently, the JQL filter will populated a SS project with all of the Jira Initiatives which are returned by the filter - this is done when the Connector is created or reset.

If an Initiative is modified such that it no longer matches the JQL filter, we would like it to be moved to the "Filtered out by Connector" group automatically in the connected SS project. This is not currently being done.

The use case for this is pretty straightforward. We have a SS Project set up to track a release; i.e. sync all Initiatives with a certain Fix Version field. We often move Initiatives in and out of the release. Currently when we do that, SS gets out of date because of this deficiency. The only way to work around this directly is to restart the Connector manually.
