Hi All

I am currently using a web form to collect data for a staff onboard systems which is working great, however, I need a way to cross-reference the data coming in from the form to a list of people I am expecting.  until the vlookup feature arrive later this year any ideas on how to do this would be greatly appreciated

Sure, I've seen several people do this.

    1) Make sure your form entries appear at the top of your sheet.

    2) Add the list of people to the bottom of your sheet.

    3) Use Lookup to search the list of people in the bottom of your sheet. https://help.smartsheet.com/function/lookup

    Hope that helps.

I do this using the JOIN() function and a column to check for inclusion.

As new forms come in, the check will determine if they are NOT in your expected list (likely a typo?) and on the expected list sheet, it would show when they have submitted a form.

Two Reports are used to show they two results.

I've procrastinated on writing it up as cross sheet lookup has been 'coming' for a while.
