Updating a live excel sheet through smartsheets

I use a smartsheets Gannt to track progress on multiple projects at once, I also use an excel to visually track each project on a more detailed level.

Is there a way of linking individual dates from 1 single smartsheet so they update on an excel sheet?

You can do this with the API or a tool that leverages it such as Zapier. You can also check out the live data connector.

I'd consider if it is possible to modify your Smartsheet structure to get the details needed from Excel.
