Conditional Dropdown

Hello,

I have a mastersheet with employee details. Each employee has authority levels 1 through 5. I have 2 employees with level 1, 3 with level 2, 6 with level 3, 14 with level 4 and 28 with level 5 authority. I am now creating a "Reports to" column and would like a dropdown where it will only display the staff with 1 authority level higher than that of the selected employee, for example, if the selected employee is level 3, when i go to enter the "Reports to" column, it should only show employees with authority level 2 in dropdown selection. Is this possible? If yes, it would be a great help.

Not possible. This is something my team and I have wanted for SO long though! Send in a product feedback request to see if this feature can get bumped up in the queue!!

If you're talking about forms, you can do a workaround, using the built-in logic, and having a different column appear for each level. But ya, in core dropdowns, not possible.
