Can I add a time do a date field?

I have a basic project tracker that has a due date column. I'm wondering if it's possible to also include a specific time to the field?

Why am I not getting a workflow notification email when I trigger the action?
A notification is triggered when I or one other person enters a date in a field. When the other person enters the date, we both receive the notification email; however, when I enter the date, the other person receives the email, but I do not.
