Timeline vs Gantt, Board vs Card

What's the point of the new Timeline and Board views? They seem to share the same concept as Gantt and Card views. If these new views have extra features, why not enhance the existing Gantt and Card views instead?

It appears to be a strategy to push users to upgrade to Business/Enterprise plans. This is not smart at all. Improving core features would be a better approach than introducing redundant ones.

There are many differences, but they will upgrade the others to the new framework, too, which will bring new features and higher limits… (I don't remember if they'll migrate/remove some of them.)
