Approval workflow: make comments required with decline

I would like to see an option "when someone selects reject or decline, require a reason or comment".

From what I can tell, there is no option for this.

- Add a comment before Approve/Decline to indicate the reason.

I have that option on there, problem is there is no way to make it "required" if the employee hits decline.

Ok.

You can add another workflow that checks if it's empty and send an update request to have them add a reason.

That is what I was finding as the option. I was hoping it was a "you cannot vote until you fill in this field".
