Overwrite Omission

Hi - Each time we move a date on a task within Smartsheet and there is a predecessor conflict, it erases all the task dates associated with the change. Rather than have all the dates removed, it would save the user a lot of time and effort, if the change were allowed even if there was a conflict. Maybe allow the change and leave the impacted tasks in a highlighted color until it's fixed. And without erasing all the linked task dates. Super frustrating and I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.
