Rows added on iPhone app do not trigger sheet automation?

I have an intake sheet where a user can enter a quick task that then maps, through a move row automation rule, to one of a number of other sheets based on a [task type] field.

I can manually enter a row on the intake sheet and, voila, the row is successfully moved after a few seconds. However, I was testing the iPhone app for Smartsheet and went to the intake sheet on the iPhone and entered a task. When it sync'd with the web sheet it failed to trigger the automation?

Can sheet-based automation rules NOT be triggered by rows that originated from the iPhone app… because it certainly appears that it cannot.
