Dashboard shortcut to an attached file in a sheet

I'm trying to add a shortcut on my dashboard and link the shortcut to a file that is attached within a sheet in the same workspace. It seems to only allow a Smartsheet sheet to be attached. Because of some access restrictions with my stakeholder group to OneDrive and SharePoint, I need to share from a space all can access. Is there a way to build a library in the Smartsheet workspace that I can add documents/pdfs as shortcuts?

@LoisPC You'll have to create a sheet and attach the documents to the rows and then either publish this sheet or a report built off of the sheet. Then you can embed the published sheet or report on your dashboard and then users can download the attachments from there.

Unless you have DynamicView, then you could built a DynamicView and embed the Dynamic View for them to download the attachments.

Thanks @Darren Mullen for replying so quickly. I don't have DynamicView, unfortunately. I'll see if I can build what you suggest - I think it may be problematic as I only want them to have access to the most recent attachment in the sheet. Thank you, again.
