Using Document Builder can I create one document to populate from different sheets?

I have 1 main sheet and 4 separate data sheets and the goal is to send an autogenerated document to the Requester once each department is done with their process for onboarding a new hire.

I was successful with the test document but it is currently located in one of the 4 department sheets. Can I link this one document through automation to send to the other sheets as well as update and regenerate the final document?

I am thinking I have to create the document in the main sheet and use formula's to link to the final Summary sheet.

Suggestions would be great, thank you!

Since you can only generate a document with data that lives on 1 single row, I would do cross-sheet formulas to bring in the data (Index Match) to the main sheet or leverage the copy/move row automation etc.

OR set Document Builder on each sheet, once the document has been generated, copy/move the row to your final summary sheet.

You have several options to choose from depending on the fine details.
