Unable to Publish a Report

I need to publish a report in order to add the URL to a dashboard so we can retain its calendar view. The Publish option is not showing in the drop down and I am the owner of the report and the source sheet. What are we missing?

There isn't a publish option in the dropdown for Reports like there is for Dashboards. You have to use the button on the right hand menu.
