Upcoming Microsoft Teams Reauthentication Required

Hi Community,

Please note, we will be migrating our Smartsheet integration with Microsoft Teams on October 30, 2024 (Updated).

Why are we migrating: We’re always working to get more features to our users, this migration makes the connection between Smartsheet and Microsoft Teams more stable so we can build new features for you in the future.

What this means for you: 

Starting on October 31, 2024, any users currently using the Smartsheet integration with Microsoft Teams will need to reauthenticate their account with Smartsheet. Users that do not reauthenticate will no longer receive any notifications from Smartsheet in their Microsoft Teams account. 

Please follow the instructions on this help article to reauthenticate your Teams account on October 31, 2024.

Last update I have heard on this was it got postponed until 10/28/24 (yesterday). I've seen no communication whether this occurred or not. What is the latest update on this?

Thank you for reaching out! The migration is planned to take place tomorrow, October 30. We will send out another communication tomorrow with more information and you should plan to reauthenticate your account when you log in on October 31st.

I am receiving this error when trying to allow access: 

upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. reset reason: connection termination

@jennifer.jessop44491 - your connection may have timed out due to a slow internet connection. Our team is looking into a potential fix, but the good news is your reauthentication may have actually worked. If you are not receiving any notifications, you can type "unregister" and then "register" to retry the process.
