I need to be able to print from iPhone mail to Smartsheet rows. This is available in outlook and Gmail as plugins, but not iPhone. You can use same method as “sending” but to pdf printing on iPhone, then you get a selection of apps, I use this for saving emails to Dropbox, but in this case the Smartsheet app should pop up. Then it should open Smartsheet folders and ask you which sheet to save it to.
I totally get where you're coming from—having the option to save emails directly to Smartsheet rows would be a game-changer for organization and tracking. While Smartsheet doesn’t have a direct integration for iPhone mail just yet, one workaround that might help is using the “Share via Email” feature in Smartsheet. You can forward the email to your Smartsheet-specific email address to create a new row in a specific sheet.
If you’re set on getting a PDF into Smartsheet, try saving the email as a PDF, then use the “Open in…” option to send it to Smartsheet. It’s an extra step but might do the trick until a direct integration is available. Fingers crossed Smartsheet takes note of this feature request soon!
