Possible to use a Smartsheet form as a formmail/sendmail?

My group has a need for a formmail/sendmail-type option, and I'm not sure if Smartsheet forms can be customized to do this.

Need to be able to use a form to:

  • Send emails with a return address from our team mailbox (not from automation@app.smartsheet.com)
  • Specify a recipient for each form submitted
  • Send to multiple recipients (optional but would be really helpful)

My organization does not support any internal web hosting so I can't just set up an HTML form using a script - hoping Smartsheet could be a potential solution. Not finding any info on how to do this so I'm suspecting it's not possible.

    Smartsheet forms themselves are not designed to send emails directly like traditional formmail/sendmail systems. However, you can use automated workflows within Smartsheet to trigger notifications or emails when a form is submitted.
