Embedding field information in a link to a form

Hello, I am using Moodle, and there is a URL option where I can pass information in a URL. I was hoping to pass information into a field using the method shown in this image. Hoping to pass info that will let us know who is filling out the form.

Hi @RPIArchShop,

It’s possible to set up Smartsheet forms to require users to log in to submit them. For more on this, take a look at the Security Setting options for forms, here. You can then add a Created By system column in the connected sheet which will display the email address of the form submitter.

Additionally, you can use URL query strings to prefill default values on a form. 

If these options aren’t quite what you’re looking for, I’d recommend submitting your feature request to the Product team by creating an Idea Post in the Smartsheet Product Feedback and Ideas topic here in the Community. This will allow other users to vote on your enhancement idea!
