Sequential Numbering Autopopulate Row
Hi all! I am trying to create a formula where every time I add a row, it aligns with the next number in the series. If it reaches a level 1 row however, the series goes to the next whole number. I wrote out manually what the numbers should be but I would like a formula to apply this automatically when i add a new row. Im not sure if this should be a formula or an automation - but it looks like you can't put formulas in the automation text box.

Hi,
Are you trying to create a WBS structure? If so, you would need to have your Level column use the Ancestors formula. For example: =COUNT(ANCESTORS([Task ID]@row)) + 1
Does that work?

There is also a template in the template gallery that has all the formulas built in for the WBS structure.
