unlicensed user pending status
What difference does it make if an unlicensed user does not accept a Smartsheet invitation? We are using Resource Management and need to setup users as unlicensed users on the Core Smartsheet Product, but I am wondering what the repercussions are if they don't accept the invite and just remain in pending status. Since they are managed resources in Smartsheet, these resources don't have to do anything in Smartsheet, so does it really matter if they don't accept?

Hi @Jayme Reed,
It sounds like you’re adding users as Managed Resources in Resource Management (RM) and don’t need them to be able to log in to either RM or Smartsheet. If that’s the case, then they won’t need to accept the invitation to join your Smartsheet account and can stay as pending users.
However, if you’re adding users as Licensed Users in RM, they’ll need to accept the Smartsheet invitation in order to be able to log in to RM. Additionally, if your organisation has Smartsheet authentication for RM enabled, they’ll need to accept the Smartsheet invitation so that they become an active member of your plan before they’ll be able to log in to RM, since it will use their Smartsheet account to log in.
