Group Management - add pending users to group

Adding new members to Group Management should be expanded in functionality to: 1) allow new members to be looked up via name or email (not just email) and 2) allow a person to be added to a group even if they have not yet acknowledged their Smartsheet invitation. That way, you can add and manage group in advance without having to monitor if the status of their acknowledgment.

Yes! I love this idea it would cut down on administrators time by not having to wait for them to accept their account with a company.

Hi @JeffB,

I've edited this post so that it relates to your idea for a user to be added to a group before accepting their invitation. I've done this because each idea post needs to be an individual idea, so that other members can vote on which of your enhancement requests they would also find useful, and so that the Product team can post updates for each item as they likely won't all be addressed at once.

Regarding your suggestion of being able to search for users via name or email, I found this existing idea - Search for users from group management home page - please add your vote to this existing idea.

Sheet Icon Color Consistency
