Outlook out of office replies in response to Smartsheet Automation

I send assignments through Smartsheet automation, and I need to receive automated Outlook out-of-office replies to know if someone is out of the office and not receiving the assignment so I can reassign it. I am the owner of the sheet sending the assignments and I have them sent from the sheet owner, but I don't receive them.

Smartsheet automations usually don’t trigger Outlook out-of-office replies because they come from a system address. Try adding yourself as a recipient on the assignments and you’ll get the email directly and can see any out-of-office replies. Or, consider setting up a process for team members to indicate when they’ll be out.Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or would like further assistance.
